Jinhwan brings a diverse background in design, including book layout and typography systems for companies in Korea as well as digital and retail work in the United States for brands like Herman Miller, FedEx and Nike.
Influenced by these experiences, he contributed original contents from his research on page transitions and interface design for Princeton Architectural’s forthcoming book, Type on Screen: New Typographical Systems.
Jinhwan is fascinated with Latin-based and Korean typography. He also loves linear investigation, simplicity in design, minimalism, and elemental geometric forms and architectures. He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and his Master of Fine Art degree from Maryland Institute College of Art.
